The party hacks who are desperate to get back into government so that the Ca Pa Flambeau Political Party can plunder the Treasury yet again, have embarked upon a campaign to use fiction to discredit the ruling administration.
By all appearances it seems that up to now the cabinet of ministers is united in purpose.
Yet the desperate UWP spin machine has identified Richard Frederick as the SLP led administration’s weak point. They have therefore contrived a plan aimed at causing a stir by inspiring a public perception that Richard Frederick is the government’s cancer. Their hope is that ‘cancer’ will quickly fester in the administration’s bowels and soon spread throughout its parts to cause its downfall.
Our information based on independent investigation is that the Prime Minister is keeping a tight grip on his team. He has set himself a purpose which includes the mammoth task of national economic recovery after the recent plunder.
Government is expected to do some borrowing which some economists will argue is inevitable but Prime Minister Pierre exposes an intention to keep both expenditure and borrowing to a minimum. His economic model will likely be defined by the development of social services and equity.
From all indications Controlled Foreign investment will be welcomed. Pierre recently indicated on Annou Koze that investors have expressed their relief at the change of guard in St Lucia. In a recent parliamentary address he told his colleagues that, ‘there are many investors keen to do business in Saint Lucia because of the openness and trust they have found in this Saint Lucia Labour Party administration. ‘.
Apparently foreign investment to our island over the past five years was repelled by certain people in authority who demanded brides and kick backs in order to influence the opening of investment doors to those with money. Meanwhile the last administration’s focus was on so called “foreign investors” who came empty handed.
The UWP has continued its empty, hungry, brain-dead rhetoric after elections just as before. The same faces and names that the electorate rejected are at the fore. Low grade communications personnel who don’t have the first clue about good governance and patriotism, continue to talk nonsense before open mikes.
The Ca Pa Flambeau Political Party has failed to replace its leader who the people of St Lucia do not want. There is no two ways about it.
Allan Chastanet’s leadership has been largely credited with being the worse tragedy to happen to this country in the post slavery era and this, in the context of everything else. Many of these people argue that Allan Chastanet knows why he is unworthy as a leader apart from being plain incompetent.
Yet the executive of the Ca Pa Flambeau Political Party declined to accept Chastanet’s resignation after the July 2021 debacle at the polls, not that anyone genuinely believed in the resignation in the first place.
What the Ca Pa Flambeau Political Party executive did not realise is that it too should have resigned. Any executive that leads a political party to such a smashing defeat at a general elections should know that it too must do the decent thing and bow out. But this political team has logic upside down, inside out, and every other way that we can think of except the right side up.
Communications is ideally a two-way exercise: listening and speaking. The problem with the Ca Pa Flambeau Political Party is that it refuses to hear the voice of the people. After enjoying more than five years of power, the Ca Pa Flambeau Political Party’s hacks are intent on striving for an early general elections, speaking even now of a return to the polls. Outrageous!
It does not seem that any time has been spent within the opposition ranks to reflect on why they lost the general elections in the first place. If they had inquired, they would quickly have found out that the people of St Lucia do not want Guy Joseph and Alan Chastanet.
Yet after the electorate spoke in no uncertain terms these two men continue on political landscape in Saint Lucia.
This means therefore that if the Ca Pa Flambeau Political Party continues on this vein at the next general elections we will have no practical and realistic choice as it would remain a non-starter for the majority of voters.
Do they not know that Independent voters win general elections? They are the ones who ultimately determine who will form the government for the next political term. The independent voters of St Lucia are so strongly against Alan Chastanet that ONE CARIBBEAN does not anticipate and cannot conceive of victory for the Ca Pa Flambeau political party under his leadership.
But do they care? No!
They are so obsessed with contracts that they cannot see their way clearly, to understand.
